Blue Notes

When I was young one of my grandfather's great joys was listening to jazz. He had a Blaupunkt hi-fi that was the centerpiece of the living room. The first live music show I remember going to was to see The Harry James Orchestra at the San Diego Naval Base Officer's club. I still have the picture Mr. James signed and gave me that night.

This collection is inspired by the memories I have of listening to great jazz and blues, as a child and throughout my life.
