Day 4 of Carlyn Clark's 1 Motif 100 Ways series for The 100 Day Project is a repeating pattern that deconstructs, reassembles and changes the scale of the original motif. The pattern is named after a small oceanside village in Portugal, Sagres that is popular today with surfers. The pattern is inspired by colors picked up from the Azulejo tile altar at the 15th/16th century chapel, Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Graça.
