Original motif for the 100 Day Project

Original motif for the 100 Day Project

Today I took the original motif, disassembled and reassembled the elements and altered the scale, and put into a half drop repeat. It's a bit of a puzzle to find the elements.

Today's pattern is named after the Portuguese town Fontelo in northern Portugal. In 2011, it had a population of 641 and covers a 3 square mile area. It's history goes back to the Castro Culture and today is a farming community.
