Today I was inspired by the Moorish rule of the Iberian peninsula beginning in about 711. It's thought that the name  of the city of Savacém came from the Arabic language.  I'm using my imagination here as there isn't much left from the period. And even if there was I don't think it would have looked much like this. But when I heard Moorish, I thought of screens, and then this pattern appeared. It's only for inspiration after all. It's not meant to be historically accurate.
