I seem to be stuck on stars for the last couple of days. It isn't something I've consciously tried to do, but after playing around with the motif and putting it into a few different repeat options until I like what I've got, I switch up the colors, and stars appear. One thing that continues to surprise me is how different color can make a pattern appear.

I chose the city of Alijó for my inspiration because I was drawn to some ancient, Stonehenge-like structures. I may have been thinking about the "funerary dolman" but it certainly doesn't seem like it in the finished pattern.Oh well, imagine it's night time, the sky would be filled with stars.
