I resisted the temptation to add a texture to the background of this pattern. Later on I think I'll layer it over or under another one of the patterns. In fact, I'm thinking one of my upcoming 30 day projects could be to combine two or more of these patterns into a new pattern. I'm also looking forward to recoloring the whole series in a different palette. I had interiors or fall apparel in mind when choosing this color palette. I'll be interested to see how it looks in something brighter or in pastels.
