775.Today's version of the motif is very simple. I took the basic motif and repeated it horizontally, combining the middle elements into one. Then I turned it sideways and put it into a half-drop repeat.

Today's pattern is named after the village of Espinhal, a civil parish located in the Coimbra District of central Portugal. In 2011, it had a population of  775. It's a spot with nice camping with river beaches and even a yurt available for rent on Airbnb.
