Mended Denim

Repair as Record

Every pair of jeans carries its own record before I add a single stitch — a back pocket worn into the shape of a wallet, a knee opened by a fall on the trail, or soft fraying earned over years of wear.

In a culture driven by fast fashion and disposable trends, repairing what we already own is a quiet act of intention. This collection treats wear as a starting point rather than a flaw, transforming aged denim into unique, wearable art inspired by traditional Japanese boro patchwork, sashiko hand stitching, and indigo-dyed textiles. Rather than concealing history or sending well-loved garments to a landfill, each repair honors the original story while adding new strength, texture, and craft.

  • Visually Striking, Functional Repair: Structural reinforcement drawing on traditional running stitches, geometric sashiko motifs, and high-durability thread.

  • Upcycled & Heritage Materials: Built with vintage fabric swatches, hand-dyed textiles, and deadstock prints to give new life to discarded materials.

  • A Sustainable Alternative: Extending the life cycle of denim—one of the most resource-intensive garments to produce—by choosing repair over replacement.

  • Custom Commissions Available: Transform your own cherished, worn-out denim into a personalized piece of functional art.
